Breeze and Peace

Bugle Rock Park

It was a Sunday evening, and like always, I was restless, wondering where to go. After a lot of Googling, I stumbled upon Bugle Rock Park. I love rocks, I love nature so it was settled. Bugle Rock Park, here I come!

I booked an Uber, and while waiting near my cross, a light drizzle began. The scene was magical the golden-yellow sun, fresh green leaves, tiny droplets of rain sparkling in the air with the Tyndall effect playing its charm. Children were riding their cycles from one end of the road to the other, carefree and joyful. I stood there smiling, soaking it all in. The happiness of people, the peace in the air, the beauty of the world ...it was all perfect.

My Uber arrived. Even after I got in, the drizzle continued, though the weather still felt warm. But the moment I reached Bugle Rock Park, everything changed. The air turned cooler, a gentle breeze was going through my hair, and I instantly felt refreshed.

The first thing that caught my eye was a giant tree it reminded me of the mystical trees from the Avatar movie. For a moment, I wished I could be Neytiri—jumping from tree to tree, watching glowing leaves, riding a Na’vi creature, flying into the sky, sleeping on the trees, their water all the greenery. Every time i watch the movie i want to become Neytiri and i wanted to be in that village and protect the nature at all cost. My imagination took me away, and I laughed at myself—oops, got carried away!

Inside the park, it felt like I had stepped into a little forest. Only patches of the sky peeked through the dense cover, and the sun’s rays found their way to my face. I secretly wished for rain so I could dance in it, but the clouds held back. Instead, I sat down under the trees on a bench and softly sang a Malayalam song:"Thumbi va thumbakudathil…" 🎶

The lyrics felt like they were written for that exact moment.

It is also a good place to fall in love, to talk, to sit there and look into each others eyes like Neyitri and Jake. Unfortunately that didn't happen🤣

As the evening darkened, I booked another Uber to head home. And just then it began pouring heavily. I couldn’t help but laugh and think, Why couldn’t this rain come earlier when I was under the trees? But still, it was a perfect evening.

And oooh i forgot to mention this place gives me vibes like Bali not beaches i am talking about but something... i don't know what, even if i have never been there but soon i will🧜🏻‍♀✨.

If you love huge rocks, nature, silence, and peace, visit Bugle Rock Park. Just sit there, breathe it in, and you’ll feel alive and deeply grateful.
